The V10 offers 20-valve and 30-valve configurations. The former returned 310 horses and 576 Nm of torque, while the latter returned 362 horses and 620 Nm.

Second Generation Expedition

The second generation Expedition featured two gasoline engine options - Triton SOHC V8 and Triton SOHC V10. The 5.4 L 24-valve V8 produced 300 horses and 495 Nm of torque. Similarly, the 6.8 L 30-valve V10 pumped out 362 horses and 620 Nm of torque. Also, it featured a 6.4 L Power Stroke diesel engine pumping out 350 horses and a massive 881 Nm of torque.

Third Generation Expedition

Third-generation Expedition offered three different engine options. Firstly, they offered the 5.4 L Triton V8 gasoline engine mated with a 6-speed automatic. Secondly, you have the 5.4 L Triton V8 E85 pumping out 320 horses and 495 Nm of torque. Thirdly, Ford offered a 3.5 L Ecoboost V6 gasoline engine that produced 365 horses and 569 Nm of torque.

Fourth Generation Expedition

Fourth Generation Expedition used three different engine options mated with a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission. Firstly, you have the 3.5 Ecoboost V6 gasoline engine produced 375 hp and 637 Nm. Secondly, you have the 3.5 L Ecoboost platinum pumping out 400 horses and 651 Nm of torque @ 3,250 RPM. Thirdly, Ford offered the 3.5 L Ecoboost V8 boosted engine from 2022, pumping out 440 horses and 691 Nm of torque @ 3,250 RPM.
