First Generation Mondeo

The first generation Ford Mondeo went into production from 1992 to 1996 for the model years between 1992 to 2001. It is also called the Ford Contour as well as the Mercury Mystique. The 1.6 L Sigma I4 engine, 2.0 L Mazda L Series I4, and 2.0 L Ecoboost turbocharged gasoline engine produced 125 horses, 145 horses, and 240 horses respectively.

Fourth Generation Mondeo

The fourth generation Ford Mondeo went into production from 2013 to 2021 for the model years between 2014 to 2022. It is also called the Ford Fusion in the Americas. They employed Ecoboost inline-4 petrol engines with displacements of 1.5 L to 2.0 L. In terms of diesel engines, they used Duratorq inline-4 engines and Ecoblue inline-4 engines.

Fifth Generation Mondeo

The fifth-generation Ford Mondeo went into production in 2022. It is also called Nathan Kongsarai, it is also called the Ford Taurus in the Middle East. It featured the 1.5 L Ecoboost turbocharged inline-4 engine, pulling a decent 179 hp. Additionally, you have the 2.0 L Ecoboost turbocharged inline-4, producing 235 horses.
