Used Ford E-350 Engine

Ford is the first automobile manufacturer to transform the automotive industry. They have created a whole new production philosophy called Fordism. It came up with a huge lineup of engines and models. All Ford engines gain their excellence on the back of years of research and development. A used Ford E-350 engine fits the bill. Generally, Ford engines score high on the reliability factor. Reliable performance continues for years without requiring a rebuild. Also, several drivers reported driving 200,000 to 300,000 miles without needing any major repairs. Hence maintenance costs remain minimal while owning a Ford engine.

Ford E Series

The Ford E Series was launched as a full-size van by the Ford Motor Company in 1961. The Ford E Series replaced the long-running Ford F Series. Also, it spanned over four generations successfully in the United States. The company marketed it for both cargo and passenger transport configurations. They gave it multiple design variations available for both retail and commercial sales.

The Ford E Series sold 8.2 million units, making it the third best-selling van line only next to Ford Transit and Volkswagen Transporter. It sold over 3.1 million units in the United States since 1997. Currently, it sells in only cutaway and stripped chassis configurations. More than 60k units were produced annually in 1961 and rose to over 88k units in 1963. The units were assembled at the Ohio Assembly plant in Avon Lake, Ohio, and the Lorain Assembly plant, Ohio. By 2021, the Ford E Series entered its 60th year of production successfully.
