For the 2010 model year, it featured the 3.5 L 280 hp V6 engine, much like the Acura TL. It produced a horsepower and torque of 280 hp at 6200 rpm and344 Nm at 5000 rpm respectively. This 24 valve SOHC VTEC engine used a multi-point fuel injection system. The engine is mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission, along with paddle shifters. The 2011 model featured a facelifted upper grille and the 2012 special edition got its aggressive front spoiler. Acura went on record to state the Acura TLX will replace the Acura TSX models.
