2.7-Liter Engines: The 2.7L EcoBoost engine is a twin-turbocharged, direct-injection gasoline V6 engine built by Ford Motor Company at its Lima Engine Plant in Ohio, USA. Known for its strong performance and impressive towing capability, the second-generation 2.7 EcoBoost delivers excellent power and efficiency. • 2.7 EcoBoost (Nano 1st Generation) - The 2.7L EcoBoost engine features a unique two-piece block design consisting of upper and lower sections. The upper block is constructed from compacted graphite iron, a highly durable material also used in Ford Motor Company’s heavy-duty 6.7L Power Stroke diesel engine. Designed for both strength and performance, the 2.7 EcoBoost produced between 315 and 335 horsepower depending on the vehicle application. This twin-turbo V6 engine was used in several popular models, including the Lincoln MKX, Lincoln Continental, Lincoln Nautilus, Ford F-150, Ford Edge Sport, Ford Edge ST, and Ford Fusion Sport. 
  
  
• 2.7 EcoBoost (Nano 2nd Generation) - The second-generation 2.7L EcoBoost V6 engine introduced several major upgrades over the earlier version, including an additional 25 lb-ft of torque for improved performance and towing capability. Unlike the previous two-piece block setup, this version uses a full compacted-graphite iron (CGI) block, providing greater strength and durability. Ford Motor Company also enhanced the engine with a dual-chain drive system and a lighter camshaft design to improve efficiency and reliability. Depending on the application, this turbocharged engine produced between 310 and 325 horsepower and was featured in vehicles such as the Ford F-150 and the Ford Bronco.
