Used Ford C-Max Engine

Ford C-Max
Ford C-Max is produced from 2003 to 2019. It is a 5-door compact multi-purpose vehicle. With a longer wheelbase, it used the Ford C1 platform. Also called the Ford Focus C-Max, it went into production from 2003 to 2010 for the model years from 2004 to 2010. Designed by Daniel Paulin, it is assembled in the Saariouis Body and Assembly plant in Germany. It is the first hybrid-only model from Ford. Later, they launched the C-Max Energi plug-in hybrid in October 2012. The Ford C-Max is also sold in Europe and New Zealand. This 5-door compact MPV used the front-engine and front-wheel drive layout. The model spanned two generations in the United States.
First Generation C-Max
Ford unveiled the first generation C-Max at the 2002 Paris Motor Show. It is the first model to use the Ford C1 platform. It went into production from 2003 to 2010 for the model years of 2004 to 2010. The model offered four different Duratec inline-4 petrol engines and four Duratorq inline-4 diesel engines. With an engine displacement of 1.6 L, the Duratec inline-4 engine produced 100 horses @ 6,000 RPM and 146 Nm @ 4,000 RPM of torque. Its turbocharged version returned horsepower and torque of 115 hp @ 6,000 RPM and 155 Nm @ 4,150 RPM respectively.
The 1.8 L Duratec pumped out 125 hp @ 6,000 RPM and 165 Nm @ 4,000 RPM of torque. The 2,0 Duratec inline-4 produced 145 hp @ 6,000 RPM and a torque of 185 Nm @ 4,500 RPM. Similarly, the Duratorq engines proved less revvy. The 1.6 L, 1.8 L, and 2.0 L displacements produced 109 hp @ 4,000 RPM, 115 hp @ 3,700 RPM and 136 hp @ 4,000 RPM respectively. Similarly, they offered torques of 240 Nm @ 1,750 RPM, 280-300 Nm @ 1,900 RPM and 320-340 Nm @ 2,000 RPM respectively. Both the Duratec and Duratorq inline-4 engines are characterized by their 4-cylinder and 16-valve design.
Second Generation C-Max
The second generation Ford C-Max went into production from 2012 to 2018 for the model years from 2013 to 2018 in the United States. They assembled it in the assembly plant at Wayne, Michigan. It is based on the Ford Global C platform. It is related to the Ford Focus Mk III model. Ford unveiled the model at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. In the United States, they launched it at the 2011 North American International Auto Show. After its stint in Europe, it was released in the United States in September 2012 for the 2013 model year.
Akin to the first generation, Ford offered Duratec inline gasoline engine variants and Duratorq inline-4 diesel engine variants. The 1.6 L Duratec inline-4 produced up to 123 hp @ 6,000 RPM and 159 Nm @ 4,000 RPM. The 2.0 L Duratorq pumped out up to 163 horses @ 3,500 RPM and 400 Nm @ 2000-2750 of torque respectively. It proved the ninth-best-selling hybrid in the U.S. in September 2012.
