Ford Essex V6: The 4.2 L OHV V6 gasoline engine powered the E-150 and E-250 models from 1997 to 2003. It generated a horsepower and torque of 205 hp @ 4,750 RPM and 353 Nm @ 3,000 RPM respectively. Besides the Ford E-150, the engine featured in the Ford E-250, Ford F-150, and Ford Freestar models. Also, it powered the 2004–2007 Mercury Monterey minivans

Ford Triton V8: The Ford Triton V8 powered the E-250 models from 2003 to 2014. It came in two engine displacements - 4.6 L and 5.4 L. For the E-Series, the 4.6L engine offered an improved performance of 231 horses and 397 Nm of torque. Similarly, the 5.4 L engine pumped out 260 horses and 475 Nm of torque. The Ford Tritor engines featured a wide range of Ford, Mercury, and Lincoln cars. It powered some of the iconic lineups in American car culture.
