About Suzuki — A Century of Engineering Excellence

Suzuki Motor Corporation is a Japanese multinational automaker with over a century of engineering experience. Suzuki entered the U.S. market in 1985 with the iconic Samurai — a compact, capable off-roader available in both convertible and hardtop versions. Marketed under the slogan Never a Dull Moment, the Samurai sold exceptionally well in its debut year and established Suzuki as a serious contender in the American compact SUV segment. The brand went on to introduce the Sidekick, Vitara, Grand Vitara, XL-7, and SX4 before its U.S. passenger vehicle operations wound down in 2012.

The H-series V6 is the engine most Grand Vitara and XL-7 owners turn to for replacement. Available in 2.5L (H25A) and 2.7L (H27A) configurations, this DOHC V6 produced approximately 155–185 hp and delivered smooth, capable performance for both on-road and light off-road driving. The H25A is one of the most searched used Suzuki engines in the United States, and we regularly stock low-mileage units sourced from well-maintained donor vehicles.
