The 2.4 L engine-powered models from 2013 to 2015 are fitted with 6-speed manual transmission. The engine produced 201 hp @ 7,000 RPM and 230 Nm of torque @ 4,300 RPM. Acura came up with two facelift versions of ILX in 2016 and 2019.

Acura ILX Hybrid

Similarly, the 2.4 L engine produced from 2016 to 2022 is mated with the 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. It produced horsepower and torque of 201 hp @ 6,800 RPM and 244 Nm @ 3,800 RPM respectively. It uses an IMA parallel hybrid drivetrain. Using an MF6 DC synchronous electric motor works out the smoothest of operations. The ILX hybrid is assembled at the Marysville Auto Plant in Ohio. The ILX hybrid models sold over 11k units annually in the United States alone.
