It produced horsepower of 300 hp @ 6,300 RPM and torque of 366 Nm @ 4,500 RPM. Acura mated it with the 6-speed automatic transmission and SH-AWD layout.
The 6-speed automatic helped the first generation ZDX to top speeds. The body used a front-engine and four-wheel drive layout. The ZDX replaced the Acura RDX and later, the Acura MDX replaced the ZDX. It returned an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 16 miles per gallon in the city, and 22 miles per gallon on the highway, thereby aggregating a combined fuel economy of 19 miles per gallon. The first generation ZDX sold over 3k units in 2010, and over 1.5k units in 2011, in the United States alone.
Acura unveiled the electric ZDX in 2023. This all-electric vehicle brings the association of General Motors. Its Ultium architecture brings the colloboration of Cadilac, General Motors, and Honda. Second Generation ZDX comes with an A-Spec trim, using rear-motor and rear-wheel drive, and a Type S using dual motors and four-wheel drive. It uses the GM BEV3 platform. It is going to be a head-turner in U.S. roads next year. With an electric range of 320 mm, it's best for day-to-day usage.
